I've now worn the Vaporfly 3 three times: once for an interval session on the track, once for a half marathon race and once for a long run that included 10K at threshold. The shoes feel a lot like my Nike Streakflys in terms of weight and fit. The laces are the same, which I like. I have found running in the Vaporflys, which are my first carbon shoes, to not be an obvious feeling of propulsion, but more of a confidence booster. I have felt that as long as I position my feet under my body, then they will help me maintain good form and stay at a good pace. It is mostly noticeable later on in runs. The tongue is particularly long and extends up way beyond the laces, which is a weird design decision. It doesn't bother me though. I love all of the many little design decisions, such as the inner soles, the text on the outer, the text on the soles... The shoes helped me knock 10 minutes off my personal best for the half marathon (though they were surely not the only factor). I find them comfortable and light and stable enough, even though I overpronate slightly.
